Overview || Acquisition Criteria

Wrightwood Capital has been an active participant in the Chicago industrial community for over 25 years.  In Wrightwood Capital Industrial Property Fund I and II, the first two fully invested funds, the company has acquired over 4.3 million square feet of industrial space valued at over $210 million.  The program is currently investing the Wrightwood Capital Industrial Fund III LP, focusing on Chicago industrial properties for $2M to $25M.  The program seeks to offer capital solutions to the marketplace in the following ways:
  • Acquisition of leased properties
  • Sale and leaseback transactions
  • Purchase of excess real estate from corporations
  • Development joint ventures
  • Loans

Wrightwood Capital executes a disciplined, systematic, and institutional process in which investments are targeted based on a strategy, acquired as part of a diversified pool of complementary assets, actively managed for long term stability, and positioned for multiple exit strategies. While we have approached our acquisition effort in an entrepreneurial fashion, it has been backed by a disciplined institutional process. By using a staff of professionals dedicated to the program, the company responds to the market energetically and creatively to secure opportunities and then support the effort with its large infrastructure.  The program invests in assets meeting specific criteria regarding location and functionality, and will generally carry long term leases to local companies.  This strategy affords the program the ability to actively engage the market in order to provide our customized brand of capital solutions.
