Robert Little joined MassMutual in 1987 and is currently a Managing Director of Babson Capital Management LLC, the real estate advisory arm of Mass Mutual. He is responsible for the Real Estate Finance Group's origination, structuring, and distribution of high yield commercial mortgage products, including bridge lending, mezzanine, and preferred equity investments. Mr. Little oversees Babson's role as co-general partner for two mezzanine funds that are jointly sponsored with Cross Harbor Capital Partners, as well as high yield investing for MassMutual's general account and other third party clients. Additionally, he is responsible for Babson's Midwest regional office in Chicago. 

Mr. Little’s previous experience includes the development and oversight of the Real Estate Finance Group's capital markets area, with responsibility for all CMBS, REIT, and structured commercial mortgage transactions. Between 1992 and 1993, Mr. Little was affiliated with a multifamily redevelopment company where he was responsible for equity real estate acquisitions and financing. Mr. Little serves as Executive Director of MassMutual Mortgage Finance, is on the board of the Springfield, Massachusetts YMCA, and is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Hartford Society of Financial Analysts. 

Mr. Little received a BA degree in economics from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1994.
