David W. MacLennan is the Chief Financial Officer at Cargill, Inc. and has responsibility for both the Risk Management and Financial Solutions platform (RMFS) and the Meat Solutions Platform. As Platform Leader of RMFS, he has executive oversight for Cargill's Power and Gas Markets and Commodity Risk Management businesses. He serves on Cargill's Commodity Risk Management, Intellectual Capital Review and Corporate Public Affairs Committees, and is a member of the Cargill Corporate Center. 

Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. MacLennan has held several positions with Cargill Financial Services Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cargill, Inc., including Corporate Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Managing Director of the European Real Estate and Value Investment Group, and Vice President and Manager of the North American Real Estate and Asset Investment and Finance Groups. Currently based in Minneapolis, he originally joined Cargill in 1991 and has also worked in Switzerland and London. 

Before joining Cargill, Mr. MacLennan was President of Fixed Income Capital Markets at U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis and served on the U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray Management Committee. 

Mr. MacLennan received his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a BA in English from Amherst College.
